Welcome to Miles Township

Nestled at the eastern end of Brush Valley in Centre County – just twenty-five miles east of State College, thirty-five miles west of Lewisburg, with its main artery Route 192, Miles township is home to the communities of Rebersburg, Madisonburg, Smulton and Livonia. Bounded on the north by Sugar Valley and south by Penns Valley, Miles township is served by the Penns Valley School District. Home to close to 2,000 folks, many of whom are Amish, this area is known for historic farms, some dating back to the 1700s. This is one of the most scenic valleys in Pennsylvania, but please drive carefully on our roads as there may be a slow moving Amish buggy just over the next rise.

Tax Collector: Real Estate Tax Bill Notice

Just a short note to explain a little more on the new real estate tax bill.  This year your tax bill will be mailed directly from Government Software Solution in Wayne County, in a perforated envelope. My return address will be on the envelope, but I will not see these bills prior to mailing.

Because of this I cannot verify when they have been mailed. I also cannot verify if those that have escrows have had copies of your bill mailed to your escrow company. To be assured that they have received your information, I recommend you reach out to your mortgage company to make sure they have received the figures to be paid.

Thank you in advance,

Carrie RishelMiles Township Tax Collector
